On September 11, Sinotruk Paraguay dealers held a grand for the SKD factory. Hou Yongjun, general representative of the Asia and America Department of Sinotruk (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony and delivered a speech.
The meeting was attended by the Ministers of Industry and Commerce of Paraguay, the Deputy Minister of Transportation, the President of the Paraguay Transportation Association, 11 local mainstream media and industry media, and 25 major customers.
At the meeting, Hou Yongjun introduced Sinotruk's "Overseas Heavy Duty Truck Remanufacturing Development Project" to the government officials, media and users present, and expressed his confidence and determination to strengthen international capacity cooperation. Sinotruk is willing to develop together with dealers SKD factory, set up CKD factory under the prospect of obtaining government policy and tax support to support the development of the local auto industry in Paraguay. Local officials said that the government strongly supports Sinotruk's project in Paraguay, and affirmed Sinotruk's overseas reengineering strategy. Through years of hard work by the Asia and America Department and distributors, Sinotruk's medium and heavy trucks exported to the Paraguayan market have exceeded 80% of the new heavy truck market in Paraguay.
